Entries are now being accepted for the British Animation Awards, a biennial celebration of British animation talent. The awards night will be held on 8 April 2010. Entry deadline is 30th November 2009 for the categories under 'read more'.

The award categories which are still open for entries are as follows:

Best Animated Special
Best Children's Pre School Series
Best Children's Series
Best Music Video
Best Commercial: Craft
Best Commercial: Director
Best Film/TV Graphics
Best Short Film
Best European Feature
Best Sound Design
New Media: Best Commissioned Animation

The deadline for entries is 30 November 2009.
Best Short Film and Best European Feature categories are free to enter. For other awards there are different fees. Full information is available on the entry forms, which you can download from www.britishanimationawards.com.
