Now open: Tom Hardy and Sadie Frost launch Choose Life short film competition in partnership with The Hepatitis C Trust and Steel Mill Pictures

Are you a student or graduate film maker? If so, you may be interested to hear that a new competition has launched to discover a talented team to produce a short film that raises awareness of hepatitis C, a cancer-causing virus affecting the liver.  Deadline for entries now extended to 1st October 2010.

Students and graduates are being asked to enter their short film concepts, following which a shortlist will be invited to London to pitch their idea. The winning team will receive mentoring and production support from Steel Mill Pictures’ critically acclaimed writer director Paul Andrew Williams, 2007 BAFTA nominee for LONDON TO BRIGHTON. The finished article will be showcased in November at a London screening event attended by national media, celebrities and members of the film industry.

Get your entries in by Friday 1st October 2010 (please note this new extended deadline from the previously published date).
