
Ever thought that you could be cut out for a career in the media industry? Here's your first step - a ten week paid internship with Channel 4. Channel 4 are looking for people with the talent and ability to succeed in what can be a very demanding business. So your background, age and qualifications aren't as important as your potential. What we'll be looking for, most of all, is a real passion and determination to make it in this exciting industry.

The Generation Next Programme offers an in-depth internship for six individuals here at Channel 4. There's the chance to really get inside the business and find out how it works - and develop some of the skills needed to build a career in the media arena. Beyond that though, they want to nurture new talent, alternative voices and fresh perspectives. To challenge people to see the world differently.
All about C4At Channel 4, they aim to make trouble, inspire change and do things first. So that'll give you some idea of the qualities they are looking for. Creative, buzzing with new ideas and prepared to take risks - you get the idea. When it comes to the nuts-and-bolts of actually making programmes though, they leave it to the talented people who do that kind of thing best - independent production companies and digital agencies.
