Media and Cultural Studies, Film and Journalism students from UWE’s School of Creative Arts will present their work at this annual exhibition at Paintworks Event Space.
Students work in print, web media, video and photography, to produce innovative work informed by a theoretical, critical understanding of contemporary culture. In past years, work shown here has gone on to win awards, and students have developed successful careers in media production, design and research.
This year the show takes the form of a one-day media festival on Saturday 22 May with a programme of short film screenings including documentary, fiction and experimental work, alongside an exhibition of photography and interactive work. There will be another chance to view films and the exhibition on Sunday 23 May.
