Screen South picks producers for new development scheme

Regional screen agency Screen South has announced the nine producers who will take part in its producer development programme - Develop, Connect, Produce – which launches on
Sept 13. We here at Bournemouth Media Academy would like to personally congratulate Emma Biggins - MA Producing Film & TV Graduate, Bournemouth University who's been selected to take part it in this programme.


The selected producers and their projects are:

Emma Biggins - School's Out

Madeline Elles-Hill - Brixton 81

Pascale Fanning-Tichborne - Red Claw Way

Shaheen Haq - Alice Walker: You Can't Keep a Good Woman Down

Francine Heywood - New Best Friend

David Mercer - Non-Stop

Dan Nixon - The Accident Club

Ben Pullen - Gateway 6

Elaine Wickham - Lollypop

The first session of the 12 month programme will feature talks from Natascha Wharton, head of development at the UK Film Council; Chee Lan Chan, head of development at Vertigo Films; and Sean Gascoine from United Agents.
