Shiers Trust which is managed by the Royal Television Society, to scan and capture digital copies of copies of the
The Radio Times, which was founded in 1923 and to deliver access to the schedule records for pre-war television. The archive has now been launched online and is accessible via

The Radio Times archive is now regarded as a scholarly resource and the most imprtant source of catalogue information for BBC radio and television. There have been recent moves afoot, within the BBC, to extract all the schedule information from the
