Wildscreen welcomes delegates from across the globe

siteTopBarCenterAligned2010Wildlife filmmakers and industry professionals across the world are now registering for the internationally acclaimed Wildscreen Festival, taking place in the UK media city of Bristol from 10-15 October 2010.

This year, a record 446 films from 45 countries have been entered into the Festival. And early signs indicate that there have been an impressive number of both short and feature-length films entered, along with some real gems from newcomers.

During the Festival week, Wildscreen's very own GREEN OSCARS, its coveted Panda Awards, will be presented at a glittering Gala Award Ceremony – where over 600 leading industry figures will gather to celebrate and applaud the winning films.

This prestigious Festival celebrates and encourages excellence and responsibility in wildlife and environmental filmmaking. There will be a week-long programme of screenings, debates, keynote lectures, workshops, masterclasses and networking events. The Festival is also a crucial marketplace, where films are bought and sold, where new commissions and contracts are awarded and where fresh ideas and skills are traded.
