The day will start with a buffet at 12 noon followed by talks, demos and Q & A with all of Avid's shiney new educational team. Whether you currently use Avid, are thinking about it, or just want to see what it can do for your facility and students, the afternoon promises to be an insightful look into the range of products Avid has on offer.

The Avid team are fairly flexible about the topics they will cover, so I'd love to take suggestions, but I really wanted to push the importance of workflow, Online and Offline and also a demo of the Media Composer available to students.

The afternoon is free for all educators. Students from Envy Academy affiliated universities are also welcome to attend. If you or any of your technical teams would like to attend, please let me know ASAP. I'll be looking after the guest list on this email.

The Avid Centre of Excellence, ACE, is Avid's new state of the art Customer Centre based at the EMEA Headquarters, Pinewood Studios. It was opened to on March 18th 2010.
