Crafts Confidential: Women talk frankly about working in the film and television industry's Technical crafts.  It is no secret that women are under-represented in many areas of the film industry, but in particular the technical crafts seem the most female-light.  But why?

You are invited to join Women in Film and TV (WFTV) for a panel discussion at the London Film School (LFS) with four women who have spent their careers working in technical positions surrounded by male colleagues. Find out why they decided upon their chosen field, how they trained to get into it, and what it has been like on the job.

This is an opportunity for anyone, male or female, interested in specialising in a technical field to find out what it takes to get there and to keep getting work.

Where: Cinema A, London Film School, 24 Shelton Street, London, WC2H 9UB
When: Tues 23rd March
What Time: 7.00pm-8:30pm discussion and Q+A, followed by networking drinks.
To book: e-mail WFTV at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or call 020 7287 1400.
