For 23 years, the Fipa (International Festival of Audiovisual Programmes) has been a veritable lookout post for new international audiovisual production and has encouraged the development of quality programmes for tomorrow. A forum for discovery and debate, the Fipa is an essential annual event for television professionals.
In 2004, the festival opened a non competitive section with the goal of stimulating networking and exchanges between international film and television schools. This Young Artists section shows documentaries, fictions, animations or experimental films directed by the young talents at these schools.
In order to participate in the 24th edition of the Fipa (in Biarritz, January 24-30) as part of this section, they are inviting international schools to send in DVDs with a representative selection of their film production.
Each year, five schools are selected to take part in the festival. The directors of the films chosen and a school representative are invited to attend.
The deadline for registration is November 26, 2010.
